Guides for the file you actually have
Pick the page that matches the container in front of you. The tool on Remove AI Meta inspects and strips metadata from a JPEG, PNG, or WebP in the browser. These guides say which chip to look for. They do not each retell a launch offer, and they do not remove a watermark.
One file is free. A folder is Unlock Pro. SynthID stays in the pixels.
The file itself
Content Credentials, generator exports, and a camera JPEG are different reports. Open one.
How to use Remove AI Meta
Step-by-step help for Remove AI Meta: drop a JPEG, PNG, or WebP, pick AI-only / EXIF / strip-all, Clean this file, download. Formats, limits, SynthID honesty, and pricing.
What is AI metadata in an image?
AI metadata is provenance written beside the pixels: C2PA manifests, IPTC DigitalSourceType, XMP, and generator text chunks. How to check a file, what SynthID is not, and how to strip tags you can see.
Google Gemini and Imagen image metadata
Google AI images can carry C2PA Content Credentials on newer exports and a SynthID watermark in the pixels. Strip file metadata in the browser. SynthID is not removed.
Remove Adobe Firefly Content Credentials from a download
Firefly attaches C2PA Content Credentials to generated JPEG and PNG exports. Inspect the download, strip the manifest locally. Cloud credentials and pixel watermarks stay.
What Content Credentials are, and what stripping the file changes
Content Credentials are a signed C2PA manifest beside the pixels, not a watermark. See where JPEG, PNG, and WebP store it, then inspect and strip that manifest in the browser. A cloud copy and a platform label can remain.
Clean metadata from a ChatGPT image download
Supported ChatGPT, API, and Codex images can carry both C2PA Content Credentials and a SynthID watermark. Strip the metadata from the file you downloaded. SynthID stays in the pixels. Instagram or Facebook can still label the upload.
Remove metadata from a Midjourney export
Inspect the Midjourney file you will publish. Some downloads carry unsigned IPTC or EXIF, including a prompt and DigitalSourceType. A C2PA manifest is often absent. Strip only what the report lists. Not a watermark or Instagram-label tool.
Remove Stable Diffusion metadata from a PNG or export
Automatic1111 writes a PNG parameters chunk. ComfyUI writes prompt and workflow text. Strip those in the browser. Use strip-all when a JPEG comment or a workflow chunk is still in the After report. Not a detector bypass.
Clean Photoshop Generative Fill metadata from the export
Export the JPEG or PNG, then strip Content Credentials that Photoshop attached to the file. A cloud manifest and any pixel watermark stay. Not a SynthID tool.
Clean photo metadata before you deliver the set
Export JPEG, PNG, or WebP, then drop GPS and Content Credentials before a client gets the files. One image is free. A folder is the batch unlock. HEIC, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, and BMP work too. RAW needs an export first. Pixels stay as they are.
How to clean EXIF and AI metadata from an image
Inspect GPS, camera EXIF, and C2PA on your device. Pick a mode, read the After report, then share the cleaned JPEG, PNG, or WebP.
How to check if a photo has AI metadata
Inspect Content Credentials, AI XMP, and GPS in the browser before you strip anything. An empty report is a result, not a promise Instagram will stay quiet.
Check if an image has C2PA Content Credentials
Inspect a JPEG, PNG, or WebP for a C2PA manifest in the browser. A C2PA line means the credential is in this file. An empty line is a scan result, not proof the picture is human-made.
What a platform does after you upload
These pages describe a badge or a pin. The cleaner still only rewrites the file you have not uploaded yet. Instagram is split by object so a Story is not answered with the carousel steps.
What LinkedIn Content Credentials are
The CR icon means a signed C2PA manifest came with the upload. What LinkedIn’s panel lists, and how to strip that manifest before you post.
Remove the CR icon from a LinkedIn image before you post
LinkedIn has no control that deletes the CR icon on a live post. Strip the C2PA manifest from the next JPEG, PNG, or WebP, verify it, and upload that file.
Does LinkedIn show an AI-generated label?
LinkedIn shows the CR icon when a signed C2PA credential is attached, including on camera photos. The panel can say AI was used. That is not Instagram’s AI info label.
Remove AI info Instagram
Instagram AI info is Meta’s on-image label, including the older made with AI wording. Strip C2PA and IPTC from the JPEG, PNG, or WebP before the next upload. A live label and a disclosure stay.
Remove Facebook AI Info metadata before you post
Prep Facebook Feed, Page, Group, and Marketplace images by stripping C2PA and related AI provenance metadata locally. Same Meta labeling stack as Instagram — no Settings toggle, no SynthID claims, no platform-label guarantee.
Remove TikTok AI-generated label metadata before you upload
Strip C2PA Content Credentials and related AI provenance metadata from TikTok photo-mode images, carousel stills, and cover thumbnails in your browser. Honest limits: not SynthID, not a guaranteed platform-label remover, video containers are out of scope for this page.
Remove the Pinterest “AI modified” label from your images
Pinterest reads IPTC metadata and runs its own classifiers. Check which one hit your file, clean the next Pin, appeal a wrong label. One image free, batch ZIP for a whole board.
How to remove Instagram AI Info metadata before you upload
Step-by-step: export your final image, strip C2PA / AI provenance metadata in the browser, verify the re-scan, then upload. Honest limits — not a SynthID or guaranteed label remover.
How to remove the “AI info” label from an Instagram post
How to remove AI info from an Instagram post: no Settings switch rewrites a live photo. Strip C2PA, IPTC, and XMP, then upload that still. A watermark, a classifier, or your own disclosure can still label it.
How to remove an AI label from an Instagram Story
A Story can inherit AI info from a reshared post. Clean the still or delete the Story. Stickers do not remove the label.
How to remove AI info from an Instagram carousel
The cover is not the whole post. Inspect and clean every still, then upload that set. One original slide can keep the badge.
How to remove a “Made with AI” label before you post
Meta renamed that badge to AI info. Tap it to see industry signals or self-disclosure, then clean the file only when the signal is metadata.
Can you remove an Instagram AI label?
Yes, before upload, when C2PA or AI tags are in the file. No switch on a live post. A yes/no answer for each situation.
Remove an AI label from a photo: what actually works
File tag, Instagram badge, or pixel watermark. Clean C2PA and AI metadata in the browser, and see which label that leaves in place.
Why Instagram still shows AI info after you edit the photo
If the After report is already clean, another export will not clear the badge. Match the file you uploaded, then stop.
Tool owners, if you already know the job
- Remove AI metadata — the general inspect, scrub, and verify tool.
- Remove C2PA — JUMBF,
caBX, and Content Credentials bytes. - Remove EXIF — GPS and camera privacy. This mode also drops C2PA.
- Instagram AI Info — file prep before upload. Not a label guarantee.
- Remove image metadata — every removal guide by file type, device, and tool.
- HEIC, iPhone, ComfyUI, ExifTool, PNG, WebP, XMP and IPTC, bulk, Android, Mac and Windows, viewer, product images, Lightroom exports — the measured how-tos.
- Pricing — one file free, then Pro for unlimited images and batch.
How to choose without opening all of them
- If you have not looked at the file, start with how to check photo AI metadata. If the only question is a C2PA manifest, use check for C2PA credentials.
- If the report shows C2PA and you want to know what that chip is, read Content Credentials, then strip on remove C2PA.
- If the file is a ChatGPT download, assume metadata plus a watermark: ChatGPT image metadata.
- If it is a Midjourney download, do not assume C2PA: Midjourney export metadata.
- If it is a local PNG with a
parameterschunk, use Stable Diffusion PNG metadata. - If you are sending a shoot to a client, use delivery metadata and privacy mode so GPS does not survive.
- If the question is what LinkedIn’s CR icon means, use LinkedIn Content Credentials. To get the icon off the next still, use remove the CR icon. If you thought it was an AI-generated badge, use the AI-generated label page. Video is out of scope.
- If the object is the words “AI info” on Instagram, use the AI info label. A feed post that is already up stays on the post walkthrough.
- If Instagram already labeled a post and the file you uploaded was clean, stop at why the label remains.
Questions
Why are there several Instagram guides?
Each one is a different object: a feed post, a Story, a carousel slide, the older “Made with AI” wording, a yes-or-no on what is possible, and a label that remains after the file is already clean. They are not extra copies of the home page. If your file never went to Instagram, start with the generator or Content Credentials guide instead.
Which guide removes SynthID or forces a platform label off?
None. Every guide on this site strips metadata from JPEG, PNG, or WebP. SynthID and TrustMark stay in the pixels. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn can still label a file whose metadata report is clean.
Where is the batch unlock?
One file is free on the home tool. A folder is the Pro unlock on the pricing page. The photographer delivery guide is the write-up for a set of JPEGs. Checkout and restore stay out of the sitemap.
