Why can’t I turn off an automatic Made with AI label on X?

X locks that label when it detects C2PA. There is no toggle. Delete the post and upload a cleaned still.

I added the label myself. Is that the same?

No. A label you applied can be turned off in the post. An automatic label from the file cannot.

Does a clean file guarantee the next post has no label?

No. This removes the manifest in the file. X can still label from other signals, and SynthID stays in the pixels.
