Three steps
- Export the file you will upload, not a screenshot of the post.
- Inspect, then clean. Read After before you download.
- If After is empty, stop. Another clean will not change that label.

Questions
Why does Instagram say AI info on a photo I took?
An editor can write C2PA or an IPTC source type into a real photo. Meta reads those tags on upload, and it may also detect the image on its own.
Is AI content a different label from AI info?
AI content is the current name. AI info is the older name. The file steps are the same.
I cleaned the file and the label is still there. What now?
If After is empty, the label is not a tag this scan can remove. It may be Meta’s own detection, a disclosure in the app, or the file already on the live post.
Which mode should I use?
AI only removes C2PA and known AI tags and can leave camera EXIF. All metadata also removes GPS. Neither mode removes SynthID.
