Will this remove Instagram AI Info, Facebook AI Info, or TikTok AI labels?
It can remove C2PA Content Credentials and related AI provenance metadata that some platforms read from the file. Platforms may still label media using other signals. We do not guarantee label removal. See Instagram AI Info, Facebook AI Info, and TikTok AI label for those jobs.
Does this remove SynthID or TrustMark?
No. SynthID and TrustMark are not ordinary EXIF or C2PA metadata. Remove AI Meta does not claim pixel-watermark or undetectable-AI removal.
What formats are supported?
The image tool handles still images: JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, and BMP. AVIF and TIFF may come back as a clean JPEG or PNG. PDFs use remove metadata from a PDF. Word and Office files use remove metadata from a Word document. Video is not supported.

If the verify report is clean, can a platform still re-label the photo?
Yes. A clean After report means the metadata this tool can see is gone. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn can still label the upload from SynthID, TrustMark, or their own systems. This cleaner does not remove those pixel watermarks.
